Lakeview Cabin sits overlooking beautiful Lake Amherst in Plymouth, Vermont.  The cabin is settled amongst private woods, pine forests and state parks.  Lake Amherst is a peaceful non-power boating lake that is perfect for kayaking, fishing and swimming in the summer and ice skating and ice fishing in the winter.

Looking up from Lake Amherst, this is Lakeview Cabin.  Cozy and private, comfortable yet rustic, the cabin offers peaceful seclusion and easy access to the region's activities, parks and resorts.  

Lakeview Cabin boasts an excellent location for skiers and snowboarders looking for Vermont's premier ski resorts.  Lakeview is located less than 10 minutes from Okemo and 20 minutes from Killington, Bromley and Magic.  Stratton is about a 30-minute drive. 

Lakeview sleeps eight comfortably, offering a queen master suite, a full bedroom and a bunk room for four.  For extra living space and convenience, there are also two lofts overlooking the cathedral-ceilinged living room and a pull-out queen sofa.

The living room is spacious and airy with pine beam accents, a gas fireplace, two open-air lofts and a six-foot picture window overlooking Lake Amherst.  Lakeview offers the comfort and convenience of flat-screen LCD-TV, cable, unlimited long-distance and local phone service and free wireless Internet access. 

     
The new kitchen features modern appliances, a gas stove and is fully-stocked for cooking at home.  The dining room table seats eight comfortably and provides a view out to the back stream and wooded hills.

Lakeview's entrance is a newly-tiled mudroom with ample storage space for coats, boots and gear.  Outside the front door, there is a ski locker for sleds, skis, boards, poles and snowshoes. 

In the provided baskets there are area maps, activity guides and reusable shopping bags. 

Lakeview also provides a gourmet picnic basket for lunching on the lake and 18-mile two-way radios for keeping in touch (cell phone service will be spotty).
